Send your version to App Review with nothing missing
Pro and Team
Most rejected submissions are not about the app. A screenshot size is missing in one language, the review notes have no test login, the export compliance question was never answered. The App Store review card puts every item Apple asks for in one list and shows what is still empty before you send.
An Admin of your workspace sends the version, with your own App Store Connect key, in the name of your Apple developer account. AppForShare never sends, cancels or releases anything on its own.
Example
Version 2.4, App Store review
- Build2.4 (118), processed
- Export complianceAnswered
- What's newMissing in Spanish
- ReleaseAfter approval, phased 7 days
Made for
- Developers who submit a few times a month and want the same checklist every time
- Agencies that prepare a client's submission and need a record of who sent it
- Teams that release on a date or with a 7 day phased release
What it ends
- A rejection because the reviewer could not sign in
- Searching App Store Connect for the one language without what's new text
- Forgetting that the build still needs its export compliance answer
- Nobody knowing who pressed Submit
How it works
Step 1
Pick the build
Choose a processed build of this version number and answer export compliance once for it.
Step 2
Add App Review details
Contact name, phone and email, a test login if sign in is required, and notes for the reviewer.
Step 3
Choose how it releases
After approval, by hand or on a date, with an optional 7 day phased release.
Step 4
Check and send
The checklist shows anything still missing in any language. An Admin ticks a confirmation naming the app, version and build, and sends.
After you send
While the version waits for review, an Admin can cancel it. Once approved, Release now publishes a version that waits for a manual release, and a phased release can be paused, resumed or released to everyone. Every step stays on the card with the person who took it.
If Apple refuses the submission, its reasons are shown in full. Release status for the version also appears on the release status page, with an email and Slack or Discord message when it changes.
Good to know
- Apple still checks age rating, App Privacy, price and content rights in App Store Connect; those are not edited here.
- The reviewer password you type is sent to Apple and never stored by AppForShare.
- AppForShare does not promise approval. The checklist covers what Apple asks for, not how a reviewer will judge the app.
- Google Play releases and rollout are not part of this card.
Questions
- Do you submit the app for me?
- No. A person with the Admin role in your workspace sends it, using your own App Store Connect key. AppForShare never sends, cancels or releases on its own.
- Can a Developer prepare the submission?
- Yes. Developers can pick the build and fill in the details. Sending, cancelling and releasing need an Admin.
- Does it work with phased release?
- Yes. Turn on the 7 day phased release before sending, then pause, resume or release to everyone from the card.
