An email for every install fills an inbox on a busy test day. No news at all leaves you guessing whether the client opened the link.

The daily install email sits in between. Turn it on for a project and the account owner gets one mail a day, after 08:00 UTC, with the installs since the last one. On a day with no installs, nothing is sent.

How it works

Step 1
Turn it on
On the project's Testing tab, switch on Daily install email. The first mail covers installs from that moment.
Step 2
Read one mail a day
The count of installs, then by build, by device model and by country, and the invited testers who installed which build.
Step 3
Or ask for it
GET /api/ci/builds/:ref/installs, appforshare installs <id> or the MCP tool build_installs list who installed one build, newest first.

What it does not do

It is one mail per project to the account owner, not to the whole team, and it does not send per install. For live news in a channel, use a webhook to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Discord. Turn the mail off on the same Testing tab.

Good to know

Goes to the account owner only.
Tester names appear for installs by invited testers; tester lists are on Team. Other installs show as device and country.
Who installed, from CI, CLI and MCP, lists up to 200 installs per build.
