Google Chat
Post every new build to the Google Chat space your team and clients already read, with the install link one tap away. You can also get installs, tester feedback, App Store and Google Play review states and new customer reviews. It uses the incoming webhook that Google Chat spaces have built in, so there is nothing to install. Pro and Team.
1. Create the webhook in Google Chat
Open the space, press the menu next to the space name and choose Apps and integrations, then Add webhooks. Give it a name such as AppForShare and save. Google Chat shows a URL that starts with https://chat.googleapis.com/v1/spaces/ and ends with a key and a token: copy all of it.
2. Add it in AppForShare
Dashboard, Integrations, Add webhook. Pick Google Chat, paste the URL, choose the events you want (for example build.ready and feedback.new) and, if you like, one project. Press Send test: a test card appears in the space within a few seconds.
3. That is it
Each event now arrives as a card with the app icon, name, version, platform and size, the release notes and an Open button to the install page. Store events show the new state, for example In review, Approved or Rejected.

Questions
- Which plan do I need?
- Integrations are part of Pro and Team, the same as Slack, Microsoft Teams and Discord.
- Do I need to install an AppForShare app in Google Chat?
- No. Incoming webhooks are built into Google Chat spaces, and the card is posted through the URL you paste.
- The URL is refused. Why?
- AppForShare accepts only Google Chat incoming webhook URLs: https://chat.googleapis.com/v1/spaces/, then the space, /messages, and a key and a token after the question mark. Copy the full URL Google Chat shows, including everything after the question mark.
- A busy space gets messages late. Why?
- Google Chat takes about one message a second per space. When many events come at once, messages wait their turn instead of being dropped.
- Cards stopped arriving. What changed?
- Someone may have removed the webhook from the space, or the space was deleted. Add a new webhook in Google Chat and update the URL in AppForShare. After 15 failed deliveries in a row we switch the webhook off and email you.
- Can I send different apps to different spaces?
- Yes. Add one webhook per space and limit each to one project. You can also pick different events per space, for example tester feedback in one and store review states in another.
