Delete your account or data
Last updated November 5, 2026
This page explains how to delete your AppForShare account (appforshare.io and the AppForShare app for iPhone and Android, operated by ZenTalk LLC), or only some of your data, and what we keep afterwards. More detail is in the privacy policy.
1. Delete your account
You can delete your AppForShare account yourself at any time, in any of these ways:
- In the AppForShare app (iPhone, iPad or Android): Account, then Delete account. Type DELETE, enter your password if your account has one, and confirm.
- On the website: sign in, open Settings, Delete account, type DELETE, enter your password if your account has one, and confirm.
- By email: if you cannot sign in, write to [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm the request from that address and delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Deletion takes effect right away. A paid subscription on the account is cancelled at once, without a refund for the rest of the period, and you get one email confirming the deletion.
2. Delete some data and keep your account
You do not have to delete your account to remove your data. Signed in, you can delete any of these from your dashboard:
- Builds, their share links and install pages (files are removed after a 7 day grace period).
- Tester feedback, with its screenshots and recordings.
- Testers, tester groups and join links.
- Saved devices (UDIDs).
- Store connections, API tokens, connected apps, webhooks and integrations.
- Your profile details and sign in methods, in Settings.
For anything you cannot remove yourself, such as install analytics for a build, write to [email protected] from the address on your account and say what you want deleted. We answer within 30 days.
3. What is deleted
- Your name, email address, password, phone, country, profile picture and two step sign in keys.
- Your builds: their links stop working at once and their files are removed after a 7 day grace period.
- Your testers, tester groups, join links, devices, webhooks, branding, custom domain and verified publisher domain.
- Your client work: clients, boards, deliveries, files, agreements and signed PDFs.
- Your store connections, Android signing keys, tracker keys, API tokens and connected app grants.
- Your Google and GitHub sign in links, sessions, and browser and phone notification registrations.
- Your team seats. You leave every team you are in; builds that belong to those teams stay with them. If you own a team, its members lose access to it.
4. What is kept, and for how long
- An account record with no personal details (an internal number and the deletion date), so billing history stays correct.
- Payment records and invoices, as long as tax law requires.
- Install and page view counts for your deleted builds, with no IP address, until they age out after 13 months.
- Contact messages and abuse reports, as long as needed to handle them and keep the service safe.
