ShareIPA alternative: share IPA and APK links with or without an account
· 6 min read
ShareIPA is a free way to turn an .ipa or .apk into a link without making an account. For a quick share it is a good tool. People look for a ShareIPA alternative when the job grows: a link that has to last longer than a week, an Android App Bundle, an iPhone tester whose device is not in the build, or a client who will test for months. This guide compares the no login options and the account based ones, and says plainly where ShareIPA is ahead.
A note on sources. ShareIPA and Zunoy AppShare details are as listed on shareipa.com and the Zunoy AppShare pricing page on November 6, 2026. Both are run by Mentcube Innovations Pvt Ltd in Bengaluru, India, as part of the Zunoy suite of tools. AppForShare is the tool we make, so read our parts with that in mind.
What ShareIPA gives you
As listed on November 6, 2026:
- No login, no credit card. Drop an .ipa or .apk and get a link.
- Files up to 250 MB.
- You set the link expiry, up to 7 days. Files are removed when the link expires.
- A password on the link.
- An admin URL to come back to the upload later, and feedback collection from testers.
- A public "Wall of Apps" page that lists apps being shared. Whether an upload goes on the wall by default or only when you choose was not clear from the page.
- No API or CLI on the free service. Those come with the paid Zunoy AppShare plans.
Those are real strengths, and for a build under 250 MB that one person needs this week, ShareIPA does the job.
ShareIPA and AppForShare without an account
Said plainly: ShareIPA gives more without an account than AppForShare does today. Here is the side by side, with ShareIPA figures as listed on November 6, 2026.
| ShareIPA (no login) | AppForShare (no account) | AppForShare Free (free account) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Largest file | 250 MB | 50 MB | 150 MB |
| Link life | Up to 7 days, you choose | 3 days, can be ended sooner | 7 days; $2 once keeps one link for 60 days |
| Installs | Not stated | 20 per link, 4 a day | 10 GB of downloads a month |
| Password | Yes | No | Yes |
| Come back later | Admin URL | Private manage link | Dashboard |
| Tester feedback | Yes | Yes, up to 3 screenshots, read through the manage link | Yes, up to 5 screenshots, feedback inbox |
| Android .aab | Not described | No | Yes, turned into one APK |
| Public listing | Wall of Apps page exists | Never listed, never indexed | Never listed, never indexed |
If the bigger file or the password is what you need without an account, ShareIPA is the better pick today. If you can make a free account, AppForShare Free gives 150 MB, 7 day links, a password and .aab uploads.
What the AppForShare manage link does
Every upload made without an account comes with a private manage link. The key sits after the # in the address, so browsers never send it to our servers, our logs or other sites; we keep only a hash. From that page you see installs, time left and tester feedback, end the link sooner (in 1 day, in 2 days or now), delete the build, or restore it within 7 days. A guest link can only be shortened, never made longer. Keep the manage link private: anyone who has it can end or delete the build.
Where ShareIPA stops
The limits show once a build is for a client, a long test round or a pipeline.
Links still end on the paid plans
ShareIPA links last up to 7 days. The paid Zunoy AppShare plans raise that to 15, 30, 60 or 90 days by plan, and count downloads per app (50 to 200 by plan). A client review that runs a quarter means uploading again and sending a new link. On AppForShare Pro and Team, links stay live while you subscribe, and downloads are counted as monthly bandwidth, not per app. See Zunoy AppShare pricing in 2026 for the full plan table.
Android App Bundles
Flutter and React Native build an .aab by default. ShareIPA describes .ipa and .apk links. On AppForShare, a free account can upload an .aab and testers get one universal APK, signed with your workspace's test key. A test key APK cannot update the Play version of the app, so testers uninstall that one first; the install page says so. See .aab upload.
iPhones that are not in the build
Any link service can only install an ad hoc iOS build on iPhones whose UDID is in the provisioning profile. Zunoy AppShare keeps a UDID list that the developer then adds to the profile by hand. AppForShare has a free UDID finder, and on every plan a tester can tap Remember this device so every iOS install page says whether that iPhone is in the build. On Pro, an onboarding link saves the device and registers it on Apple with your App Store Connect key; on Team, Hands free also remakes the profile and starts the build. More in a UDID list is not enough.
After testing
AppForShare checks every account build against current App Store and Google Play rules, with a fix for each issue, and on Pro and Team sends the store build to TestFlight or a Google Play track. ShareIPA and AppShare stop at the test link.
