In November 2023, AppForShare ran a limited-time discount on annual plans for Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This page now explains what the two shopping days are, what is available today, and how to get the best value from AppForShare without waiting for a sale.
What are Black Friday and Cyber Monday?
Black Friday is the day after Thanksgiving in the United States (Thanksgiving is the fourth Thursday of November). It traditionally starts the holiday shopping season with in-store discounts. Cyber Monday is the Monday after Thanksgiving and focuses on online sales. Both have spread to many other countries. For the history of the names, see the origins of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
What AppForShare offers today
AppForShare shares mobile app builds for testing. You upload an Android .apk or iOS .ipa, get an install link and QR code, and testers install over the air. There are four ways to use it:

How to save without a seasonal deal
- Start on Free. The Free plan includes password protected links, QR codes and the UDID finder. Many solo developers never need more.
- Pay yearly. A yearly plan costs the same as 10 months, so you get two months at no charge compared with paying monthly.
- Buy bandwidth only when you need it. Pro and Team can add 50 GB for $10 in a busy month (up to 4 add-ons per month) instead of moving to a bigger plan.
- Add seats one at a time. Team includes 5 seats. Extra seats are $6 per month each.
There is no free trial of Pro or Team, and payments are not refunded, including renewals and partial periods. You can cancel any time from Billing and keep your plan until the end of the paid period. Details are in the refund policy.
What changed since 2023
The original post mentioned some things that are not part of AppForShare today, so to be clear:
- The 2023 annual plans and their discount no longer exist.
- Support is by email at [email protected] and through the contact page. There is no 24/7 support.
- iOS builds install from a link only when signed Ad Hoc, Enterprise or Development. AppForShare does not convert Android APK files to run on iPhone.
- Install analytics (devices, OS versions, models, countries and daily installs) are part of Pro and Team.

Yes. Yearly plans cost the price of 10 months: Pro is $120 per year instead of $144, and Team is $390 per year instead of $468.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Payments are not refunded, including renewals and partial periods, except for a billing mistake on our side, a paid feature we end, or where consumer law requires it. You can cancel any time and keep the plan until the end of the paid period.
