AppsOnAir pricing in 2026: what OTA build sharing costs on each plan
· 9 min read
AppsOnAir (by Logicwind) sells four plans: Free, Pro, Pro Plus and Enterprise. Each plan covers six products at once: OTA build distribution, CodePush, AppLink deep links, push notifications, the AppSync force update SDK and the AppRemark feedback SDK. That makes the pricing page long, and if you only want to share test builds with testers and clients, it is hard to see what you are paying for. This guide pulls out the build sharing limits, explains the parts of the price that cover other products, and puts the same numbers for AppForShare next to them.
Every AppsOnAir figure here is as listed on their plans and pricing page on November 3, 2026, in US dollars. The page itself is the source; prices change, so check it before you buy. Third party sites still show older AppsOnAir prices, which is one reason we wrote this. AppForShare is the tool we make, so read our parts with that in mind.
The four plans at a glance
| Free | Pro | Pro Plus | Enterprise | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly billing | $0 | $59.97 a month | $134.97 a month | Custom |
| Yearly billing | $53.97 a month | $121.47 a month | Custom | |
| Apps | 1 | 10 | 25 | Custom |
| Team members (Admin, Developer) | 1 | 5 | 20 | Custom |
| Testers | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited | Custom |
| Largest build | 300 MB | 1 GB | 2 GB | Custom |
| Build storage | 550 MB | 10 GB | 25 GB | Custom |
| Install link life | Up to 30 days | Up to 90 days | Up to 90 days | Custom |
| Password on install links | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Install link renewal | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| CLI | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Build releases and downloads are listed as unlimited on every plan. Yearly billing saves 10 percent.
The page disagrees with itself
The main comparison table and the plan cards give the prices above. Another block on the same page, behind the monthly billing switch, shows Pro at $54.99 and Pro Plus at $60.00 a month. We quote the main table, because its numbers match the plan cards and the yearly prices. The trial label also varies: the Free column says "14 day free trial", and the paid plan buttons say "7 days free trial" in one place and "14-day free trial" in another. If the exact price matters, confirm it at checkout before you enter a card.
What you pay for that you may not use
The Pro and Pro Plus prices include quotas for the other products:
- CodePush: Free has 10 releases and 1,000 bundle downloads a month; Pro has unlimited releases and 500,000 downloads; Pro Plus 2,000,000 downloads.
- AppLink: none on Free; 50,000 links on Pro; 250,000 on Pro Plus.
- Push notifications: 2,000 monthly active users and 100,000 sends on Free; 10,000 users and unlimited sends on Pro; 250,000 users on Pro Plus.
- AppSync force update and scheduled downtime: Pro and up.
If you use React Native and planned to move off App Center CodePush, or you need deep links after Firebase Dynamic Links, those quotas have real value and the price looks different. If you only share test builds, the price is for 10 apps, 5 members, 1 GB files, 10 GB of storage, passwords and 90 day links.
Add-ons
The page offers add-ons on top of each plan. As listed on November 3, 2026: 5 more apps for $1.99 a month, 10 GB more storage for $1.99 a month, an extra team member for $3.99 a month, and a custom domain for $19.99 a month. The custom domain is for AppLink deep links, not for install pages. There are also add-ons for CodePush downloads, push users, AppLinks and URL prefixes. Some add-on blocks show different units for the same item, so again, check the number at checkout.
Billing, as described on their refund and cancellation page on the same date: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, prorated upgrades, cancel any time. The refund policy covers refunds within 30 days for technical problems or a wrong description, and the unused part of a subscription cancelled before renewal.
The same table for AppForShare
AppForShare only shares test builds, so there are no other quotas in the price. These are the limits from our pricing page:
| Guest | Free | Pro | Team | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $0, no account | $0 | $12 a month or $120 a year | $39 a month or $390 a year |
| Regional price | $5.99 a month or $59.90 a year | $19.99 a month or $199.90 a year | ||
| People | 1 | 1 | 1 | 5, then $6 a month each |
| Largest build | 50 MB | 150 MB | 2 GB | 4 GB |
| Storage | 2 GB | 25 GB | 150 GB | |
| Link life | 3 days | 7 days | While subscribed | While subscribed |
| Downloads | 20 installs per link, 4 a day | 10 GB a month | 40 GB a month | 150 GB a month |
| Password per build | No | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Extra links per build | No | No | Up to 3 | Up to 20 |
| CLI and CI uploads | No | No | Yes | Yes |
A few notes on reading it:
- No app count. AppForShare plans do not limit the number of apps. Storage and monthly downloads are the limits.
- Downloads are capped. AppsOnAir lists downloads as unlimited. On AppForShare, bandwidth is what testers download: a 50 MB build installed 20 times is about 1 GB. Pro and Team can add 50 GB for $10 when a month runs over.
- Regional prices apply in South Asia, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, much of Africa and parts of Latin America. The card's country decides. AppsOnAir lists one price for everyone.
- Trial. A first Pro subscription can start with a 7 day free trial; the card is added at checkout and nothing is charged until it ends.
- Keeping one Free link longer. A Free owner can pay $2 once to keep one build's link live for 60 days.
- Refunds. AppForShare does not refund renewals or partial periods, except for our billing mistakes, a paid feature we end, or where consumer law requires it. That is stricter than the AppsOnAir policy above. See the refund policy.
What a year costs
Monthly prices hide how far apart the totals are. Worked out from the listed prices:
| Plan | Billed monthly, 12 months | Billed yearly |
|---|---|---|
| AppsOnAir Pro | $719.64 | $647.64 |
| AppsOnAir Pro Plus | $1,619.64 | $1,457.64 |
| AppForShare Pro | $144 | $120 |
| AppForShare Team (5 seats) | $468 | $390 |
AppForShare's yearly price is the price of 10 months. AppsOnAir's yearly billing saves 10 percent. Neither side promises coupons, so plan on the list price.
What the free storage means in practice
AppsOnAir Free allows 300 MB per build but 550 MB of storage in total, so one large build and one smaller one fill it. Older builds have to be deleted before new ones fit, and their FAQ says deleted builds cannot be restored. AppForShare Free has 2 GB of storage with 150 MB per build, and a deleted build can be restored for 7 days. Neither is better for every case: if your Android build is 250 MB, only AppsOnAir Free takes it without paying.
Which plan fits
A solo developer or freelancer
For one app with builds under 300 MB, AppsOnAir Free is generous: links up to 30 days and unlimited downloads. What it lacks is a password, so anyone who gets the link can install. AppForShare Free has the password but only 150 MB and 7 day links. If you upload every week or a client needs links that keep working, AppForShare Pro at $12 a month is the cheapest paid option here, with 2 GB files and links that stay live while you subscribe. The jump to AppsOnAir Pro is $59.97 a month.
An agency of five
AppsOnAir Pro covers 5 members and 10 apps for $59.97 a month. AppForShare Team covers 5 seats for $39 a month, with no app count, 4 GB files, private projects for invited testers, a custom domain and a white label install page. For agencies sending one build to several clients, both now allow several links per build: on AppForShare Team up to 20 extra links per build, each with its own label, password, stop date and install cap. See several links per build.
A team of twenty
AppsOnAir Pro Plus is $134.97 a month for 20 members, 25 apps, 2 GB files and 25 GB of storage. AppForShare Team with 15 extra seats is $39 plus $90, or $129 a month, with 4 GB files and 150 GB of storage. Here the prices are close and AppsOnAir includes CodePush, deep links and push. If you would use those, it may be the better value. If you would not, compare the build sharing features, not the price. AppForShare vs AppsOnAir lists them.
Things the price table does not show
- Account first. AppsOnAir needs an account, a workspace and an app before the first upload. AppForShare takes guest uploads up to 50 MB with no account.
- File types. As listed in the AppsOnAir OTA FAQ, builds are .apk and .ipa. AppForShare also takes .aab files on Free and up and turns each into one APK testers can install, plus a zipped .app.
- Feedback. On AppsOnAir, build feedback is written in their mobile app, or through the AppRemark SDK in your own app. AppForShare testers send feedback with screenshots from the install page, with no app and no sign in.
- Installs on Free. Both show install counts on the free plan. On AppForShare Free that is the total per build; the breakdown by device, OS and country is Pro and Team.
- Notifications. AppsOnAir lists Google Chat and a generic webhook. AppForShare Pro and Team post to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Discord, Google Chat and signed webhooks.
